Your Kindred Lantern is a piece of conscious design, shaped in wax and clay, to be placed with care and intention. Display it in an environment free from direct sunlight, excess heat, and rough handling.
Assembly Instructions
Assemble your Kindred Lantern in the following order:
1. Ceramic Plinth
Place on a clean, flat, stable surface suitable for burning a candle safely. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, impact, and movement. The concave glazed surface, with a hole at its centre, should face upward.
2. Wax Lantern
Position the curved base of the wax lantern onto the concave surface of the plinth, aligning the holes in both pieces.
3. Podium Dish
Place inside the wax lantern, fitting the stalk securely into the aligned holes. The base should sit firmly against the inner base of the lantern.
4. Lantern Candle
Place one lantern candle in the centre of the podium dish, ensuring the dish is clean and the candle stands upright and stable.
How to Care for Your Lantern
Wipe the wax component of your lantern occasionally with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Air dry fully away from direct sunlight and heat.
Wash the ceramic plinth and podium dish with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that may mark the glaze.
Handwashing is recommended for longevity.
